Terms & Conditions

The following information relates to the policy of Pennine Leisure Products Ltd and should be read in its entirety prior to an order being placed.

1. Special Offers & Promotions

These are products subject to a discount, which will be available for a limited period of time and which may be available in limited amounts, colours and sizes. It is possible that certain / all discounted items may have been discontinued from the Company’s product range and designated as obsolete.

We do our utmost to ensure that discounted product and price details appearing on the Pennine Leisure Products Ltd website will be accurate. The accuracy of such details obtained from any other source other than the Company’s official website or by telephoning the Company’s Sales Department cannot be guaranteed.

2. Customer Orders

The availability of products will vary according to customer demand. Whilst we do our utmost to ensure that adequate stocks are available, please note that placing an order on-line with the Company does not guarantee that the product(s) you have ordered are available.

The Company will do everything possible to complete your order, in the event of difficulty you will be contacted at the earliest opportunity. Prior to placing your order you may wish to contact our Sales Department on 01254 355703 / 355704, to confirm availability of the item(s) required.

3. Despatch of your Order

Please Note that we only deliver to UK Mainland.

We will do our utmost to despatch your order as soon as possible. As a general rule the following criteria will apply:

Products from stock:		Despatch within 7 – 10 days of order placed.
Products which require ordering:		Despatch within 4 – 6 weeks of order placed.
by us from a supplier:
Products which must be:		Despatch within 4 – 6 weeks of order placed.
Manufactured in-house:

You will be advised of any potential delays regarding the despatch of your order at the time that your order is placed. However, please note that unforeseen delays may occur from time to time during particularly busy periods.

Please be assured that we will make every effort to keep you fully informed in the event that a delay is anticipated.

4. Delivery Charge

Persons placing orders using the Company website will be informed of the applicable delivery charge when they reach the ‘CHECKOUT’ stage.

Persons placing telephone orders will be advised of delivery charge prior to their order being finalised and confirmed.

5. Payment

The prices shown / given for products and delivery charges are in UK pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.

Pennine Leisure Products Ltd accepts payment by all major credit and debit cards. Please note that any credit card orders exceeding £1,000 (one thousand pounds sterling) will be subject to a surcharge of 2.5%.

The website itself does not take payment at the time of ordering.  It is our Company Policy not to charge for goods until the entire order is packed and ready for despatch.

The Company reserves the right to refuse acceptance of payment details that we suspect are being used fraudulently.

Transaction details are transmitted using ‘SAGEPAY’ which is a UK payment system for processing secure online credit / debit card transactions.

6. Cancelling your Order

Before the goods are despatched

The Contract between us only becomes binding when we process your payment. This occurs just before we send the goods out to you.

Upon receipt of the goods

On receipt of the goods, you have a statutory right, known as a ‘7 day cooling off period’ to cancel your order.  If you wish to take advantage of this, you must cancel your order within 7 working days (to be confirmed to the Company in writing), starting the day after you receive the goods. 

However, there is an exception to the right to cancel. Customers cannot cancel if the contract is for goods manufactured to the customer’s specification.

Notifying us of your intention to cancel

You must inform us in writing by letter, fax or email: sales@pennine-leisure.co.uk of your decision to cancel. 

Returning/Refunding the cancelled goods

Once you have notified us of your wish to cancel, we require you to return the goods at your own expense within 30 days whereupon we will refund to you the price of the goods only.  Our preferred method of repayment is to credit the refund back to the original payment card.

7. Returns Policy

The Company must be contacted and must agree in writing to the return of goods prior to any goods being returned.

Customers are at liberty to return products in an unused and ‘as new’ condition, either in or with their original packaging and accompanied by instruction manuals where appropriate, for a period of 30 days following delivery. The Company will then decide whether to offer a full refund or an exchange.

The goods are to be returned at your own expense and risk, we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit.

Return of Goods which are faulty

Products which have been used will not be accepted for return unless the Company has agreed in advance that a warranty claim may be justified. As such, the Company’s decision regarding the validity or otherwise of a warranty claim will be made following an inspection by the Company of the returned product(s) in question. All products are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of despatch.

If you wish to return goods which are damaged or faulty please email us on sales@pennine-leisure.co.uk. We will discuss with you the best method of returning the item(s).

9. Product Information

Every reasonable effort is made to ensure that product details and prices appearing on the Company website are accurate and up to date.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the imagery and colours displayed on our website are an accurate representation of the products offered for sale, there may be occasions where some disparity can exist.

Please be assured that we do our utmost to minimise any differences between imagery and the actual products being offered for sale.
